The Collector's Exhibition
The Collector’s Exhibit at the Fine Arts Museum of Gloucester offers a rare opportunity to experience a decade of exceptional plein air painting through the eyes of those who have collected it. Featuring works on loan from private collectors, the exhibition brings together a wide range of artists and perspectives from past Gloucester Arts Festival Plein Air Invitationals.
Six Scenes, One Place
Six Scenes, One Place: The Story of Gloucester is a compelling exhibition that brings the county’s history to life through six distinct yet interconnected vignettes. Inspired by a new large-scale mural by Michael Rosato, the exhibition explores pivotal moments and enduring themes. Developed in partnership with the Gloucester Museum of History and the Fairfield Foundation, the exhibit pairs artwork with historical objects and interpretation to create a layered, engaging narrative.
Art & Flowers
This interpretive flower-arranging event is open to the community, any age. No entrance fee. Arrangements are not judged. Arrangements will be on display during the Gloucester County Daffodil Festival.
Choose any artwork on display at the Fine Arts Museum of Gloucester until March 24; and create a flower arrangement interpreting the artwork. You can choose from any piece of art in the museum. This event is sponsored by the Garden Club of Gloucester & Mathews.
NAACP Freedom Fund & Awards Banquet
The Gloucester County NAACP hosts their annual fundraiser, the Freedom Fund & Awards Banquet. Guest speaker, The Honorable Johnny E. Morrison. will give a talk on “Pathways to Reentry and Success.” For more information please call 804-286-6533.

This event will offer exclusive behind-the-scenes insights into Seltzer-Duny's highly anticipated documentary, THE GATE: The Story of America's First Contraband Community, which follows her journey to unite black and white descendants, explores the historic Brooks Cemetery in Mathews, and reveals the untold story of the first Contraband families.
