Audience and Community Engagement: Identifying Value and Strengthening Support Workshop

Join Geoffrey Kershner with Small Town Big Arts to explore concrete strategies for identifying and articulating the value of arts initiatives in rural communities and small towns. You will leave the workshop with an action plan for applying some of its strategies to boost engagement in your own communities in the Northern Neck and Middle Peninsula.

In this workshop, you will:

  • Identify & articulate the value your work brings to your local community.

  • Explore values-based strategies to strengthen audience and community engagement.

  • Apply values storytelling to your work, organization, and/or SARA project.

Facilitators: Geoffrey Kershner and Sara Thompto with Small Town Big Arts and Randolph College.
